I was checking out Jivamukti yoga. It's a holistic yoga that's kind of religious. The religious part does not interest me, but it's done very fast and it's more about strength and flexibility. The couple David Life and Sharon Gannon are really into Ahimsa (non violence) which includes being a vegan.
I'm a sometimes vegetarian and Vegan, well, no I'm a freakin meat eater. I like eating meat occasionally. I have the habit of not eating it everyday. I don't like to depend on it. But my brother made an interesting point, if there were dire times, who says beans and rice won't be around either. Not that I always eat beans and rice, but think about it.
Growing up, we didn't have a lot of money and my parents were more health concious than they are now. We at mostly beans and cornbread, turkey, soy milk, green tea, spaghettie, tomatos, and fish. Not a whole lot else. My parents were always instilling into me to be ready for the end times...never get used to eating to much or to rich...It's kind of stuck with me....sometimes it's hard to enjoy a good meal...
Here's the couple that created it. David Gannon looks like Iggy Popp...
